Extend the pole 0.8'' longer than the opening and twist-tighten it. 2. Compress the skinnier pole against the ceiling first, then move the bottom pole into position and tighten the bottom cap. 3. Leave 20'' spacing between the footprint of the two vertical poles so the shelves can fit properly. 4. Note that the shelves cannot be installed on the top, skinnier pole.
